The school's crest proudly reflects our school colours; burgundy, gold and white, as well as our motto, "learning and growing together". The symbols on the crest reflect the journey through school beginning with the ABC's and culminating with graduation (diploma). The book and the computer are important learning tools in this journey.

In September 1999, a contest was begun in our school asking students to submit designs for a new school crest. On December 23, 1999 two students, Matthew Hoskins (Grade 6) and Kerilyn Green (Grade 4) were acknowledged, as their designs were chosen to create our new school crest. Congratulations to Matthew, Kerilyn and all students who took part in the contest.

We would also like to acknowledge Tricon Graphics for completing the final touches and for donating a large crest to the school which was unveiled on Dec. 23rd, 1999.
