The alligator was adopted as the school mascot during the 1998-1999 school year.

This mascot has been the name of the school's sports teams, "The Acreman Gators", as well as our school newspaper, "The Gator Gazette".

An election was held at the school and our students and teachers chose "ACE" as the official name of our mascot.   We are all very proud of this name.
