Kinderstart

The school provides a Kinderstart program for children the year before they enter Kindergarten. Kinderstart provides 4 year olds with an introduction to the classroom setting and the school as a whole. There are 6 to 8 Kinderstart days spaced throughout the school year. Kindergarten children do not attend school on days when Kinderstart is held. Parents of Kindergarten students will be provided with advance notice of the days when  Kinderstart will be held.

Guidance Counselor

C.C. Loughlin has on staff a full time Guidance Counselor. Parents and students may ask at any time to meet with the Guidance Counselor to discuss  issues of concern. Communication is important so please let the school know about any matter that may affect your child’s performance. at school.

School Social Worker

The School has  recently obtained the services of a professional social worker. Please utilize this additional support should you require the service. 

Public Health Nurse

Our school has the services of a professional public health nurse one day each week. All parents and students are encouraged to use this service. The nurse’s primary responsibilities is health education and coordinating an  immunization program for children.
