SCHOOL: Until 1967, the children
of Branch were educated in a small three room school located within the
community. In 1967, a central high school, which served grades 6-11
was constructed in St. Bride's. Students from Branch, then
traveled the 12 miles, by bus, to St. Bride's each day. Until
1991, children from kindergarten to Grade 6 attended school at St.
Thomas Aquinas under the principal ship of Mrs. Catherine Ellen Nash,
where students received a firm foundation for their high school years.
In 1991, Fatima Central High School became an all grade school and the
name was changed to Fatima Academy. Today, all children from Branch
travel to school in St. Bride's.

LIBRARY: Even though there is
no library located in Branch, the people avail of the services of the public
library in St. Bride's. Also, the people of the community continue
the tradition of lending their books to one another, resulting in most
of the residents being well read individuals.

CHURCH: Most of the people in
our community are practicing catholics and go to mass each week.
The Branch church is a beautiful structure with loving parishioners.
The present pastor is Father Ed Sutton and he is a great leader.
The community church is located on the top of a hill in the center of the
area. The people of Branch believe that this is an appropriate location
because they think that the church serves as a protector of the community.
