The boats of St. Bride’s were damaged during a tremendous storm called Gert.  On Thursday, September 23, 1999.  This happened in St. Bride’s, Cape Shore.  This tragedy happened because the wind blew down our way and caused the damage.  This happened by waves coming in over the wharf and smashing into boats.  Also, by objects being removed from the wharf.
