Marys interview was great. Mary used to live in Lears Cove and that is an abandoned community. Mary lives in Point Lance now. Mary only had one neighbour in Lears Cove. Her mom died when she was a baby. There were only two houses in Lears Cove and only 13 people lived in there. They worked on their farm. They had two horses, pigs, cows, chickens, roosters, and sheep.
They moved from Lears Cove to St. Bride's because they wanted to live in a bigger place with stores, schools, mail, and church. Now Lears Cove is an abandoned community.
