Hi!  My name is Mary Careen and I am part of the cleaning staff of Fatima Academy.  I have been a janitor for nineteen years.  What I love most about my job is chatting with the students and staff.  Each student and all staff members make me love working at Fatima.
I'm native of Lears Cove, a small cove, near the famous bird sanctuary.  Lears Cove was a small area with only two families.  I lived there on a farm until I was twenty-three.
I traveled to many different areas of Newfoundland and I'm after working at many different jobs, but I found myself loving being a janitor at Fatima the most.
Now I have five children, four girls and four boys.  Each have grown up, have moved on and now have a life of their own.  Now I have two beautiful grandchildren.  I have a little farm of my own which I enjoy working on also.  That is about all I can say about myself.
