We are a small school located approximately one hour from St. John's and about five minutes off the Trans Canada Highway. The school currently has an enrollment of about 160 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6.

Students at our school travel from communities in the area; Fair Haven, Chance Cove, Bellevue, Bellevue Beach, Thornlea, Long cove, Normans Cove, Chapel Arm and Long Harbour.

Some activities offered at our school are: Guitar lessons, Music, Computer Technology, Library, Physical Education, CAP Program, Choir, and many other educational programs.

History of Our School

Holy Family Elementary School was built in 1974. The school was orginially belonged to the Roman Catholic Church but in 1996 the school became a part of the intergrated non-demoninational school system.
