As a part of our adolescence evaluation the grade nine classes are preparing web pages about stds. Justin, Adam and myself (Andrew) have chosen syphilis as our disease.
Syphilis can be a very harmful disease if not
treated. However there is a cure. If the disease is not treated
bacteria can damage nerves, or even the heart or brain. If
syphilis is not treated and a woman is pregnant, her baby may be
born with birth defects. Or even worse the baby may be born dead.
