Ignorant people and society can be very cruel sometimes even to people without illness but to a person with a illness, calling them a name can mean the difference between the confidence to fight the illness or giving up.
There are several ways you can act when a person tells you that they have a STD. Number one, there is a wrong way, by acting like the person is just a bug and isn't worth your love and support. Number two there is the right way by giving the person the love and kindness that they need to fight off the disease.
If you choose the right way and helped them through the disease, they will really appreciate it and will stay your friend forever! If you see a person with an STD on the street or they are apart of tour family, please be understanding and treat them wit the respect and kindness they they deserve. They are a human being with or without a STD.
