Kindergarten
The Kindergarten Class chose to do a "Let's All Join Hands
for Peace" display. They used peace letters with hands and flags from around
the world which was created by a former Grade Six class. The Kindergartens
had invited each class to make a pyramid person to add to the peace pyramid
which they had built. The theme used for their pyramid people was "being
helpers not hurters"!
They also grew a story about best friends helping each
other.
Let's All Join Hands For Peace
Our Story
Once upon a time a little rabbit
named Little Bunny lived in the woods. One day Little Bunny was feeling
sad. He was crying because he had no one to play with. He went looking
for his moose friend named Freddie. A bear came along and scared Little
Bunny. He was afraid the bear would eat him. Then the ground shook. There
was Freddie. He pretended he was going to charge the bear. It scared the
bear right out of his fur. The bear ran away. The best friends, Little
Bunny and Freddie, were safe for now, but they knew it wouldn't be for
long. But they would be best friends forever, helpers and not hurters.
