The Speak Off which was held at our school consisted of4 people, but unfortunatly only three people could go to the regional speak off. The four people who participatedin the speak off at Holy Trinity High were; Sabrina Green, Elaine Welsh, Dalma Fabian and Krista Walker.Each Person chose a different topic to orate on. Sabrina spoke about people with challanging needs and how they cope in society. Krista talked about the y2k bug and how it will affect technology in the new millenium. Elain explained the rights of animals,and Dalma talked about teen suicide. Unfortunatly Elain was eliminated from the speak offs. So it looked like it was Dalma, Sabrina and Krista going tothe speakoffs.It took a lot of courage for them to getup in front of all those people and speak,but thecourage paid off because they really enjoyed themselves.
