Geography

Boyd’s Cove is located northeast of Lewisporte in beautiful Notre Dame Bay on the way to Twillingate. Boyd’s Cove is partially surrounded by water and partly by forest; it also has
numerous scenic islands scattered along the coastline.
Boyd’s Cove is popular in the summer as many tourist stop to take pictures of our spectacular sunsets.

The most unique feature in our community is the Beothuk site which was the home of the Beothuk Indians from approximately 1650 A.D to1720 A.D. There is also a beautiful walking trail
leading to the site and the falls.
