Our most unique feature , the Beothuck site, which was mentioned earlier, is also our biggest tourist attraction. The Beothuck Interpretation Centre opened to the public in 1995 and
had 1500 visitors in the first season. The 2000 season saw approximately 8500 visitors, some from as far away as Australia, Switzerland, all across the United States and other parts of the world.
