Home of the Jens Haven "Huskies"
These games are a part of the Inuit culture. The games are an important unit
of our Physical Education program at Jens Haven Memorial School here in Nain,
Labrador. We use about 16 activities as part of both Fall and Winter Sports Meets,
or during sports day at years end.

You can play these games in any space - large or small, inside or outside,
at any time, and with any grade level. You will need little or no equipment !

In some games, your opponent is yourself, there may be no organized
teams. Other games can be played by any number of people.

This project will describe the Bench Reach, Owl Hop, Leg Wrestling, Seal
Crawl, Stick Jump, Back to Back, Back Bend, and the Thong Pull. For each event, we
