Sportsmeet

During the week of October 10th to the 14th, 2001, there was a sportsmeet held for students along the northern Labrador coast.
The teams came from Nain, Davis Inlet, Hopedale, Makkovik, Postville & Rigolet.
Each team consisted of 12 members (six female, six male).

The Fall Sportsmeet was held in Hopedale.
During the Sportsmeet the teams competed in all sorts of events.

This is the team gathered in the RCMP truck, getting ready to leave Hopedale. Nain came 2nd overall so everybody is looking forward to the next sportsmeet when they hope to finish in 1st place!!
