Student Projects
The staff and students of Jens Haven Memorial created the following GrassRoots projects during the 1999-2000 school year. Although no projects were done last year, there are plans to have projects completed during the current (2001-2002) school year.
This project was originally done as part of a computer technology module using Corel WordPerfect 8. It was then converted into a web format using Site Central. The students learned how to use wordprocessing software, a digital camera, and image modification.
This project was a cooperative effort initiated by the Physical Education teacher. Junior and senior high students contributed to the project through the writing of the text descriptions, by demonstrating each game, and through taking digital images and sketching diagrams.
This project was created by the Communications Technology class of 1999-2000.
The Communication Technology 2104 students of 2001-02 were required to create web pages to add to the school web site. One of the criteria was that the topic had to be related to school events or school life. The projects that follow were developed solely by students which they then learned how to upload to the school web site directory.
