 The Junior Canadian Rangers were
first formed in the fall of 1999. The Patrol is sponsored by
the local Canadian Rangers, DND, and the local communities.
Our Patrol, called the Labrador Straits JCR’s was the first
of seven to be formed in this province, and has 50 JCR’s
between 13 and 17 years old. The program is very flexible
with a strong military and outdoor/local cultural focus.
