Discipline Policy Beliefs

  5. Discipline is to administered in a safe and loving environment.

  6. Each child must be disciplined with respect and dignity.

  7. Discipline reflects how I feel about myself and others.

  8. Since each child is unique, approaches to discipline must be varied.

  9. Discipline must be a cooperative effort of home, school, and church.

  10. Discipline must be both fair and consistent.

  11. Discipline reflects our Christian worldview.

  12. Discipline assists the whole child in reaching his/her maximum potential and maturity.

  13. Appropriate behaviour must be modelled.

  14. Children must be active participants in the discipline process.

  15. Discipline is improved when students are motivated.
