Welcome
Northern Lights Academy is a multi-grade, K-12 school, which
is focused on academic achievement and the development
of the whole person.
We
offer programs which reflect the local culture. Inukituit
is taught in grade K-12 and High School. Ilusivut/Life
Skills is taught in grades K-9.
This
year we are pleased to offer a walking program for
students from 8:00 to 8:20 each morning. We are continuing
to improve the nutritional quality of the food served
in our school.
The School Council is working on increasing parent
contact with the school at times such as Parent Teacher
Interviews, Celebrate Our Learning Days, and Open
House/Curriculum Night.
