VISION

District #2 envisions a student centred learning environment where home, school and community work in unison towards the achievement of excellence in education. This is exemplified by a commitment to high student achievement, literacy, professional growth and development, interdependence and reliance on technology, strong human relations and the preparation of students for life. Central to this vision is the necessity for all participants to work together in achieving common goals.


MISSION

The mission of District #2 Northern Peninsula/Labrador South School Board, in partnership with the home and community, is to encourage and promote the growth and achievement of all learners in a supportive and learning environment which provides fairness of educational opportunity for all.

Goal Three: To develop a District Literacy Plan.

Goal Seven: To develop a network of home-school-community partnerships.
Goal Eight: To provide for fairness of access and opportunity for all students in the district.

Goal Ten: To develop policies and procedures which ensure consistent functioning of schools.
