Each year the students of the Pathfinder School participate in a very worthwhile activity.  Beginning in the the month of March the students and staff begin the process of growing plants by planting hundreds of seeds.

Some  seeds are so small they have to be sprinkled onto the starter trays.

Other seeds are large enough that they can be planted individually.

After seeds have germinated and grown for several weeks they are transplanted into individual trays and allowed to develop for several more weeks.

Plants will have an opportunity to mature in the individual plant packs.

One small pack of seeds can often produce hundreds of flowering plants

After several weeks of watering and fertilizing the plants have developed into very hardy individual plants that can used to beautify the school grounds and other areas.
