Dawson and his family went searching for frog eggs up on the Churchill Falls Road. They found a large cluster in a creek. They put them in a bucket with water from the creek and brought them to school. There were HUNDREDS of little eggs in there. We watched them break out of the egg cluster and grow into little tadpoles. Samantha brought in some fish food and we fed them just a pinch everyday. Mrs. Lamond even had to come into school on the weekends to feed them. We named them Speedy and Squishy! There were lots of Speedies and Squishes! During the last week of school Mme Watts class came with us to release the tadpoles in the Johnny Hill creek. We pretended that we were tadpoles while we were walking in the rain carefully holding onto our cups.
