The Great Ice Cube Race By: Cassie

In Ms. Tee's room we had to have a paper towel on our table. We had to try and melt the ice cube. Whoever got the ice cube melted the fastest would win. The rules were you can not put the ice cube in your mouth, you are not allowed to sit on the ice cube and you are not allowed to get out of your seat. I was on the gas team. It was lots of fun!

The Liquids Race  By: Sarah

In Ms. Anderson's room we  had a liquids race. Molasses was first, mustard was second and ketchup was third. I love molasses. It is my favourite. We did an activity. It was a lot of fun. It was a graph. Molasses was the biggest, , mustard was the second biggest and ketchup was the smallest. My favourite won was ketchup, but it did not win. It was the last one in the race.

Brain Pop Jr - Matter

We had to watch a movie on the Smart Board. It told us all about matter, gas, liquids and solids. We got to go up and touch the Smart Board. There was jokes and they were good.

Gas Experiments By: Norah

In Ms. Paine's class we were doing gas experiments. Ms. Paine got a balloon and a water tank. She put the balloon in the tank. She blowed  it up. She let go of the balloon. The water in the tank went everywhere. I was in the front row. I never got wet. It was so cool. The other kids in the front row all got wet. Ms. Paine likes getting all messy! She got a cup. Ms. Paine put a paper towel in the cup. Ms. Paine put the cup in the tank. When she took the cup out the paper  towel wasn't wet. It was very cool!
