Stanley Lambchop was a funny kid that suddenly become flattened when a bulletin board in his bedroom fell on him during the night. Stanley could then slide under doors and visit friends by mail when he wanted to.

We enjoyed Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown so much that we decided to make and mail our own Flat Stanley. When our own paper Flat Stanley was made we sent him to a friend or family member. Then we had to wait for Stanley to reach our friends and for him to return. Our friends documented the places Stanley visited while in their care. We received photos, brochures, maps, souvenirs, and even scrapbooks. The response was amazing.

Then to our surprise, other Flat Stanley’s  came to us from Ontario, Nova Scotia, United Kingdom and Australia!

Wow! What an awesome project!
