The Grade 2& 3 students at Peacock Primary are all very excited about their "Butterfly Project". Our school ordered 10 Painted Lady Butterfly kits. They arrived on Thursday, May 22nd. When they arrived they were at the "larva" stage. We will be watching them closely over the next few weeks as they go to the "pupa" stage then emerge as "adult" butterflies! Our Butterfly Project is well underway. Many of the larvae have changed into chrysalides and have been placed in a butterfly house. Keep checking back for updates. Take a look at some pictures taken in Mrs. Lamond's Grade 2 class.
