Factors to be considered when drafting class lists

·        Gender

·        Academic Ability

·        Social

·        First Names (consideration given)

Policy

  1. Administration will arrange for teachers to meet, draft, and submit class lists by the end of May for the coming school year.
  1. The appropriate Resource Teachers (all stake holders) will attend these meetings.
  1. Once class lists are compiled, the present and next grade level teachers will meet.
  1. Class lists will be finalized by the third week of June.
  1. Each teacher will be given a copy of their new class list

Students in grades 1, 2 and 3 will be informed of their new teacher in September
