On December 9th & 10th/09, Loyola Fitzpatrick gave a "skipping" inservice to physical education teachers & other sports related people from Labrador. The workshop was great, and Mr. Fitzpatrick agreed to visit our school to do a short demonstration. He brought two Junior High students (Lora & Gina) to help with the activities. Teachers and students alike were amazed at the tricks that were performed. He even got Mr. Forsey involved.. This will help to improve "skipping" instruction at our school. and we thank Lora, Gina (Snoop), and Mr. Fitzpatrick for their time. It was a lot of fun and , of course good exercise too.. Mr. Fitzpatrick is a physical education teacher at Cowan Heights Elementary school in St. John's, NL.
