Frogs
Hello my name is Jenna Ash and I'm from Perwiln Elementary.  For my project I did frogs.  This I some information I found out about them.
There are many different kinds of frogs.  There are over 3,400 of these species.  They come in many different colors such as blue, green, yellow, red and so-on.  some frogs climb trees and others are deadly poison.
Tree frogs also known as tree toads spend most of thier life in the trees or shrubs.  They can come in many differnt colors.  Most are yellow.
You probly know what a regular frog looks like.  The frog Is a very unusual creature.  this type of animal is a amphibian.  Which is a greek word for "two lives".  That means some live on the land and some live in the water.
They all have different habitats  such as Bullfrogs live in the lakes while tree frogs live in the trees.  some live in the moss and others in the ponds.  They all have diiferent habitats.
Have you ever felt a frog?  What does it feel like?  Well a frogs skin is very different from yours.  It feels very clamy.  The reason for this is for the frog to breath.  As a frog grows it's skin gets tighter and tighter because it has no lose skin for it to grow out of.  Then it sheds the frog quickly eats it's old skin.
Why do frogs hop?  the reason why frogs hop is because it's the way their legs are shaped.  They have five enormus toes that are webeb it helps them swim and when they are hopping it helps so nmothing will cut thier feet.
As you know the largest frog in the world is tyhe bullfrog.  it's eyes always look the oppsite ways because they are always aware of anything.  If frogs could talk and you asked them what happened the forest yesterday it would be ablt to tell you everything and describe everything.
A frogs menu is very simple it eats everything that mooves or anything that fits in thier mouth.
The frog lays thier eggs up to 20 000.  after they are hatched the turn to poloywogs then to tadpoles then finally the get thier legs and they are a frog.  when a frog lays it's eggs it lays it oin the water or a small puddle.
Did you know that a frog that a frog goes in to hibernation. every time it gets cold it goes to sleep.
    Well thats sall for now.
