About Our School
Pistolet Bay School is located in Raleigh, at the Northwest tip of the Great Northern Peninsula on the island of Newfoundland. It was built in 1977 to service the communities of Raleigh and Ship Cove. In 1982, our school changed from K-12 to K-9.
Our enrolment has been decreasing over the last few years from 70 to 30 students. There are four teachers in our school including French and Special Education.
