The NP Learner
The vocabulary scores for the NP learner #3 (both kinesthetic and tactual modality strengths) increased from 5 to 7 correct responses from pre- to post-test. She spent almost 19 minutes online and made 38 media selections. This high degree of multimedia interaction coupled with her strong preference for the tactual (see previous section) and kinesthetic channels (the attraction of small muscle manipulation that was required to use the mouse and keys is a kinesthetic trait as well) may have positively influenced the vocabulary test results.
Like tactual student #2, she used more media in general and more visual
media in particular, 14 graphics and 7 videos, and her vocabulary score
improved. With the exception of one student, tactual learner #2 and NP
learner #3 made more media choices and spent more time with the software
than anyone else.
