A MESSAGE FROM
LEE MASTERS

Hello and greetings  from everyone here at the Winterland EcoMuseum.  We are very excited to have this opportunity to share our facility with the entire world and we hope you find this website to be interesting and informative. The Winterland EcoMuseum is a community-based initiative run by volunteers called the Winterland Heritage Development Corporation.  These people oversee the EcoMuseum, its public programs, and special events.  By blending our areas natural and cultural heritage in one facility, the volunteers have ensured the knowledge of past generations will exist long into the future.  Additionally, much of our area's natural habitat has been conserved to ensure wildlife populations will remain strong for years to come.
As we enter a new millennium, the Winterland EcoMuseum provides an excellent opportunity for all of us to reflect on where we have come from and where our children will take us.  Knowing that many of these children have a sound understanding of how the human community fits into the global enviroment, speaks for a bright future for our area, country, and planet.

Warmest greetings from the Winterland EcoMuseum,

Lee Masters, Curator
