My  name is  Adam.   I  live  in  Carbonear  Newfoundland.   I am  eleven  years old.   I  go  to  St.  Joseph's  Intermediate  school.   I  am  in  grade  six.   My hobbies  are  collecting  hockey  cards  and  collecting  coins  from  all  over  the    world.   I  have  two  sisters,  a mom, a dad , a dog  and  nine  fish.   My birthday  is  on  August  10th  1988.   My  favorite  food  is  pizza .  I  like  to  play  such  sports  as  hockey , basketball , baseball, soccer  and  bowling.  I  am  also  on  the schools  hockey  team  and  the  six  seven  boys  basketball  team. My  favorite T.V.  show  is  Hang  Time  and  I  like  to  listen  to music  from  Kid  Rock  and Smash  Mouth.
 
 

When  Hitler  and  his  army  start invading  England, Norah  and  her  brother  Gavin  have  to  go  to  Canada  to stay  with   some  people  that  agreed  to  take  them  until  the war  was  over  in   England.  They  get  along  with  Gavin  but  not  with  Norah .

                                 The Move

       It was just after Christmas and Norah and Gavin were playing with their christmas toys when a tall women wearing a gray and black blouse and hat  started talking to Aunt  Florence about something important.   When  Aunt Florence came in she said that they were moving. Norah  and Gavin couldn't believe it.  She said that Mrs. Green ( the lady with the gray and black blouse and hat) was going to buy it for more then they bought it for. Norah asked where were they moving? Aunt Florence said to New Brunswick.  Gavin asked, "Where was it?"  Aunt Florence said it was on the east coast and they were going to leave on Friday on a Ferry. Norah was not too happy about moving because she had just made friends and now she has to move far away.
