            A New Chapter I Wrote

Christmas is not like it was!

This book was about when Norah and Gavin were sent to Canada because there was a war in their country. They never got to see there parent's after. It was christmas when they never got to spend there time with there parent's. Gavin did not like it when they had to spend there time with an old lady.

It didn't seem fair, said to Norah. Why did they send me here? ''Norah'', said Gavin. "Why did we have to come here?" When will we be going back with mommy and daddy? Well not until the war is over, said ''Norah''.  "Do you think mommy and daddy miss us?" Christmas doesn't seem cheerful without them. I am big enough to stay home. I would have went to Sally's house, my friend. She stayed home because of her mom. She had to take care of them. I  wish we could have stayed home. This old  lady is bugging me to death. Well we will have to put up with her for another week or so.
