Exploring Land Habitats
This Web Site examines a number
of natural land habitats, and focuses on the positive and negative effects
of human development on the habitat, and the plants and animals living
there. Students examined the external and behavioral patterns of
various animals, and looked at how these features help the animals meet
their basic needs in their environment. From this project, students were
able to appreciate how the removal of a plant or animal from a community
affected the rest of the community.
