Armadillo Lizard

Hello, my web page  is on the desert creature called the Armadillo Lizard.
The Armadillo lizard got it's name because of it's strong and spiny scales from Head to Tail that helps protect itself from enemy's. The lizards armor is similar to the armadillo therefor it is called the Armadillo Lizard.
Although hard spiny skin is an excellent source of defense for the reptile to protect it's body from predators, it can also curl up it's tail and use it as a club to fight against it's enemies. When things get really tough for the armadillo it rolls onto it's back and tucks it's tail into it's mouth. The lizard moves very slowly so cannot run from danger so when things get too dangerous for it it can crawl into a crevice of a rock.
The Armadillo lizard can be located in the desert of South Africa where it is rocky( the perfect place for protection.)
The reptile can grow to be 10 inches long ,and its spiny scales are brown to blend in with the sand and rocks in it's surroundings, to hide from peditord or to probably sneak up on it's prey.
The Armadillo Lizard feeds on insects, spiders crickets, meal worms or waxworks.
I thought that the Armadillo Lizard was a interesting creature to study, and I hope that the information that I have provided will help you learn more about this reptile.
