MARMOT
Marmot is the largest member of the squirrel  family. They live in burrows, and are found in much of the Northern Hemisphere. They are know as a rodents. They are 1 to 2 feet long. Marmot's have short legs, small ears, and furry tails.

Most Marmot's have gray fur on theirs backs and yellowish orange fur on their bellies. They eat plants. They eat so much food in autumn so when they hibernate They don't die. They in colonies on mountain slopes.

The common European Marmot is found in the high peaks of the Alps. The bobcat is the marmot of eastern Europe and Asia. The common Marmot of eastern North America is the Woodchuck, or Groundhog.
