Snow Leopard!
The
Snow Leopard is also called the ounce. It is a member of the cat family.
It lives in the cold regions of central Asia.
The Snow
Leopard grows to be about 6 feet long. It has thick, pale gray hair with
leopardlike spots. The snow leopard resembles such big cats such as lions
and tigers, it also has many features of smaller cats. For example cannot
roar but it can purr.
It feeds
on mammals such as deer, ibex, marmots, and picas. Snow leopards eat in
a crouched position, so do domestic cats. Other big cats feed lying down.
The snow
leopard is an endangered species because so many have been killed for their
fur.
