St. Joseph's Intermediate "Exploring Land Habitats" Project
The Black spider monkey 16-21 inches high and weighs
19 pounds. Its colors are black and sometimes thin flesh colored rings
around the eyes with whit chin whiskers.
It lives in South America.The monkey lives
where trees,berries,bananas and leaves grow.The monkey eats wild fruit,leaves,spider,insects
but manly fruit.It swings from tree to tree with its long arms and legs.It
lives in groups up to 20 to 45.
