Tarsier is a small mammal.It lives in the tropical rain forests of Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. They sleep in the day and are active in the night.
Tarsiers
have a round head and large eyes. They have big ears and a long tail with
tufts of hair on the end.
There
hind legs make them stronger jumpers.The Tarsier can leap as far as 20
feet. They have special
pads
on there fingers and toes to cling to the branches.The Tarsier can rotate
it's head and see in any direction, but they can't move there eyes. They
measure from 3 1/4 to 6 inches long. The tail is from 5 1/4 to 10 3/4 inches
long. The Tarsier weighs about 4 ounces. It eats birds , insects , and
small lizards.
