Azurite 

Azurite (chesylite, azure copper ore)- Composition: Basic copper carbonate
Chemical formula: Cu(CO3)2 (OH)2.
Colour: blue to very dark blue.
Streak: light blue. Hardness: 3.5 to 4
Luster: submetallic, vitreous, or dull.
Cleavage: Conchoidal or splintery. Is good in one direction and fair in another.
Transparency: Opaque, although transluctent in thin splinters.
Formed: By the alteration of copper sulphide minerals.
Mostly found in: Germany, Greece, and Arizona(U.S.A.)
Uses: Popular among collectors. Used for bowls, jewellery, and ornaments.
