• Color -  pale to deep rose pink. The color comes from the trace           mineral titanium.

• Hardness - 7
• Lustre -  glassy
• Cleavage - Hexagonal
• Transluscent
• Uses - wave transmitters for radios, television sets, and most radars.
• Found in such places as Brazil, Madagascar, Scotland, Spain, and the U.S.A. ( Colorado, Connecticut, Maine and New York.)
• Rose Quartz fades in the sun.
• Most rose quartz is dyed.
• Rose quartz will chip or crack easily.

Rose quartz has no odor.
