My favorite zoo animal is the Eagle. Eagles are found on every continent except Antarctica. Some live in desert areas, swamps and jungles and in the mountains.

The Eagle have large, strong beaks that are hooked for tearing meat. Their feet are built for grabbing and come equipped with sharp claws. They have very powerful wings and flight muscles so they can catch food. The eagles wings feathers help it fly.
 
The eagle lives in groups. Three towards the front and one at the back. An eagles foot has four toes. The toes are small but very strong. Once in its grasp a Golden Eagles prey is not likely to escape.
