Polar Bear

Most people have never seen a Polar Bear except in a zoo. These huge white bears are only found where there is lots of ice and snow. Polar Bears sometimes have to swim to hunt because their main food is Seals. They spend much of their time near the coast where the Seals live. In the Summer the snow and ice melt and the land is covered with plants, flowers, and berries. Most of the Polar Bears then follow the Seals as they travel even farther north in search of fish. The Polar Bear is bigger than most bears, and it's weight is about 1100 pounds. If you stand next to a Polar Bear standing up, your head might reach it's paws. Also the Polar Bear has very good hearing, and a very good nose for smelling. I would really like to see A POLAR BEAR.
