SUSPENSE: At night
Ralph always rides his motorcycle around the Hotel. Lots of other mice
live in the Hotel too. Ralph has a friend named Matt who is the janitor
at the Hotel. The owner of the hotel got mad at Matt because of all the
mouse droppings on the ground. Will Matt get fired? Rating: ![]()

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT:
The author described and developed the characters very well. For example,
Ralph went from a wimpy mouse to a brave mouse. He changed his name from
just plain Ralph, to Ralph S. Mouse because he was so smart and he wanted
everyone to know. (The
S. stands for smart.) Rating: ![]()

IMPORTANT MESSAGE:
Ralph learned that it is important to share. When he just told his cousins
to go away and didn’t let them ride his motorcycle, it didn’t help things.
Later on in the story he changed his ways and let them ride his motorcycle
and they all got along much better. Rating: ![]()

IMAGINATION: The
author has a great imagination. Ralph and all the other mice can talk and
they have human qualities. Also Ralph’s toy motorcycle can be driven around.
There is a ‘mouseinator’ – it makes a sound only mice can hear that makes
them run away, horrified. Rating: ![]()

DIFFICULTY: The
plot was a little difficult to follow. Sometimes I got a little confused.
Some of the words were long and hard to read. There were not a lot of deep
meanings in the story. All in all it wasn’t a particularly difficult book.
