Throughout the year our school has been invited to take part in several Math competitions. These are competitions where groups of students from Grades 4, 5, & 6 get together as teams to answer problems in Math. St. Edward's sent two teams, each with four students to St. Anne's Academy, Dunville for the local competition. The winning team from this competition then travelled to St. Edward's Elementary, Brigus for the next level.

At St. Anne's Academy our teams did very well by placing second. The winning team from St. Anne's went on to place second at the Brigus competition.

The students representing St. Edward's were: Michael Collins, Lisa Connors,
Jason King, Niraj Shukla, Charlie O'Keefe, Geanine McGrath, Pam O'Keefe and
Eugene Brown.
Our alternates were: Paul Williams, Ryan Collins, Rhonda Pitcher, Stephanie Mullaley, Pam Murphy, Chris Ennis and Jaquelyn Wakeham.
