Happy New Year!!!!

Thank you to all the families, boys and girls, parents, teachers and others who contributed to our World Vision Fundraiser. We raised enough funds for two Alpacas. It will be very much appreciated by the families who will receive them.

Come join us at Stephenville Primary for our Fall Book Fair - To the Book Fair and Beyond - that will take place from Monday, Nov 28th - Thurs, Dec 1st. Family night will take place on Tues, Nov 29th at 7pm. Watch for the newsletter that will be "Out of this World".

Our school will once again be taking part in Samaritan's Purse. We will be collecting items to fill shoe boxes (see memo). The items should be at our school no later than Friday, November 18th.

Next week, during Waste Reduction Week, our school will have a recycling blitz. Bring your recyclables to school and get your named entered for a prize draw. Bring your recyclables to the depot and return the pink slip to school with your child's name on it to get entered for a draw. Prizes to be won daily.

Next week we will celebrate Waste Reduction Week at our school. Mon: Recycling Blitz (all Week), Tue: Compost Awareness, Wed: Recycle my cell drive, Thurs: Book Swap, Fri: Wear Green.

This is a reminder that school will be closed on Thursday, Oct 27th and Friday, Oct 28th, due to Teacher Professional Development.

Thank you to all who supported our Vegetable Fundrasier. It was a huge success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

School picture proofs were sent home Friday, October 7th. Retakes will happen on Wednesday, October 12th at our school. If you wish to purchase any package, money and proof must be returned to our school by no later than October 17th.

The Thanksgiving assemblies will take place on Thursday, October 6th, 2011. Please check your memo to see times for your child's class. Food donations to the food bank are greatly appreaciated.

This is a reminder to parents that Stephenville Primary School will be closed on Monday, September 26th, for teacher professional development.

The students and teachers of Stephenville Primary are having a vegetable fundraiser. Order forms were sent home this past week. All orders must be returned to the school by September 30th. Vegetable orders will be available for pickup on October 5th.
