Introduction 




    Dinosaurs  lived  on  earth  long   before  people  did, but now they are extinct.In this report the

writer  will  talk  about  the Treiceratops, looking at such topics as appearence,

size,food,enemies,habitat, and other  interesting facts. The report will end with a conclusion.
 
 

Appearance

    The  Triceratops  was  one  of  the  biggest   and  dangerous   dinosaurs.  This  type  of  dinosaur

had   three  big  horns  on  the  tip  of   its  nose.  The  Triceratops  had   leathery  skin  and   a

large  frill  at  the   back   of  its  head.  These dinosaurs had  rows  of  cutting  and  grinding  teeth

along  its jaws.

Size

    The  Triceratops  was  75  metres  long  and  3  metres  high.  Its  weight  was  5  to 6  tons.
 
 


 

Habitat

    Triceratops   have  been  found  in  the  Rocky  Mountains  and   North  America.  They  lived

in  the Cretaceous  Period.

Food

 The  Triceratops  were  herbivores,which  means  they  were  plant-eaters.It  ate  ever-green trees,

and fern-like and flowering plants.
 
 

Enemies

    The  enemy  of  the  Triceratops   and   was  Tyrannosaurus.  Tririceratops  used  its  head  and

its horns to protect itself  from enemies. The size, and  weapons  on  the  Triceratops face. kept

enemies away.



                                                             Other Facts

    There are 16 different species of Triceratops. These dinosaurs lived in herds and always had a

leader. They lived 65 million years ago.

Conclusion

    Triceratops means thee horned face. Dinosaurs are very interesting creatures from the past. The

also are very fascinating creatures to read and write about.
