This web page depicts the classroom life of a group of kindergartners from Summerford Primary School on New World Island. For the whole month of March, 2003, they worked on the theme Health & Safety. It includes lots of pictures of children at their learning centers, doing journal writing, collaborating to make posters, practicing their fire safety rules and using the knowledge they gained to complete related projects. It also includes samples of the students’ work and some of the poems used during the theme.
