~Turtles~
By:
The Tricon Kindergarten Class

The kindergarten class have studied turtles this year as part of our language and science curriculum. This topic was of particular interest to the class since we have our own pet turtles. During our investigation we found out many things about turtles, especially the Red Eared Slider.
We learned all about turtles, how and where they live, what they eat, how they develop and how to identify the different parts of a turtle.
As part of our project we created our own turtles out of paper plates, turtle part cut outs and a drinking straw. These items were assembled by the students in the class, as shown in some of the pictures on the site.
We developed the following resources from the information we learned: Click on the link to see our work.
